Happy new year everyone!
I worked lately for Swiss Snowboards and on the 2nd episode for Elias Ambühl TV in Colorado, USA. We had great fun during our trip and we were lucky with the weather – blue bird almost everyday.
It was my first “official” production with my Epic X and damn – i love this camera! Although it wasn’t easy pulling focus with the PL-Mount – as a “One Man Show”. I’m still waiting for my Canon-Mount. A lot of cool shootings are coming up the next few days before im flying back to Aspen for the Winter X Games 16.

I went with Elias Ambühl for two days to Saas Fee to test some new gear in the field. One of the new equipment is the “Rollpack” from Petrol-Bags. The Backpack/Rollpack is specially designed for DSLR Motion, has lot space and compartments for your daily use. Your sensitive material is well protected and it’s just the right choice to produce on DSLR’s out in the nature.
It was such a good feeling to be back on skis – beautiful, bluebird weather and this crazy good kid in front of my lens.

Last week i had the chance to film the famous Windlin brothers in Lac Blanc – a pretty nice bike park in France. I tested some new gear and im gonna try some new softwear in the post. I’m still not sure if i’m gonna change my editing softwear with Avid or Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 but im sure i’m not downgrade my FCP7 to FCP X/10. Still disappointed about that!
Lars and Kevin did a great job and worked their ass off to get the right shots – thanks a lot guys!

What a day! Blue bird, a well shaped park and temperatures like in spring made it perfect! Awsome footage came together with Elias Ambühl, David Ortlieb and Kai Mahler.
Freeskier David Ortlieb, Ruedi Flück from the TWIN Magazin and i went to Engelberg to find once again – fresh powder. Freezing cold temperature and less snow than expected made it a hard day to shoot. Nevertheless a funny day!
